In order to improve the cooperation and diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Malaysia specifically in the field of education, the Embassy of Malaysia where in this case was represented by an embassy adviser of education, Mohd Hidayat Bin Mohd Sauffi, BAS, M.Comm., made a visitation and socialization to the Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) as one of the top universities in West Sumatera on Monday (September 3, 2018).
“This is the second visitation from the embassy of Malaysia to West Sumatera and my first visitation to UNP,” Mohd Hidayat Bin Mohd Sauffi said.
Furthermore, Mohd Hidayat Bin Mohd Sauffi, said that this visitation was carried out in the framework of the work and we hope that the future of cooperation on education between Malaysia and Indonesia can be established, especially in the field of curriculum and student exchanges.
Mohd Hidayat Bin Mohd Sauffi explained that as the nation's next generation, the two allied countries must learn from each other, through student exchanges with "Degree Programs" or internships.
"Moreover, by given the honorary of Doctorate Honoris Causa (HC) to Datuk Sri Anwar Ibrahim on this October, it will open up the opportunities for UNP to be better known by the Malaysian community," Mohd Hidayat said.
This meeting took place in the Rector's room, Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D.
