The 2018 of FIT ISI Holding in Padang, Faculty of Engineering of UNP Holds General Lecture on Mining Survey
In the series of National Seminars, Call for Paper, and National Reunion of Surveyors, the Association of Indonesian Surveyor (ISI) collaborated with the Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Negeri Padang (FT UNP) held a general lecture on "Mining Survey". The event which was held in the Multipurpose Room of FT UNP on Tuesday (November 6) was attended by 200 Mining Department students.
The Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) of the Republic of Indonesia socialized about Foreign Research License at 4th Floor of the Rectorate and Research Center Building, Universitas Negeri Padang, on Thursday (October 25). The activity was attended by delegates from universities around of West Sumatera and other related parties.

The International Seminar with the theme "LGBT: A Threat or the Right of Freedom of Individuals" was held in the Postgraduate Hall of Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) on October 20, 2018. This event was a program of collaboration between the Sumatera Branch of Malaysia-Indonesia National Union Association (PKPMI) and International Office of UNP.

To improve the quality of students majoring in fashion and make-up, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality (FPP) held a seminar and MoU with famous designer Jeni Tjahyawati. A total of 150 participants from the Fashion Design and Beauty department were very enthusiastic to attend the seminar which held in the hall of FPP on Thursday (October 18).

To lead students to the world of entrepreneurship, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Ir. H. Andi Amran Sulaiman, M.P. who claimed to have started a business from scratch even was presented as the speaker in general lecture.
