MALUKU-Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) through the Center for Community Service (KKN) of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) held the National Community Service Program (KKN Kebangsaan) from July 25 to August 25, 2024. In this activity, students will be placed in 42 villages spread across 4 city districts in Maluku province. Namely in Ambon city, Central Maluku district, West Seram district and Buru district. The four districts/cities are archipelagic areas rich in natural potential that have the potential to be developed into independent islands.
The departure of the 4-person team, led directly by the Head of the UNP KKN Center Dr. Elfi Tasrif, MT, consisted of 3 students, namely Selvi Afmailia from the Industrial Electrical Engineering Study Program (FT), Diva Melani salsabila Biology Education Study Program (FMIPA) and Hafidz Muthalib from the State Administration Study Program (FIS), besides that it was also accompanied by one field supervisor from the lecturer Dr. Martias Z. This delegation consists of selected students who will participate in the Community Service Program (KKN) which aims to make a real contribution to the local community.
With a high spirit of service, the UNP National KKN XII 2024 delegation is ready to contribute and have a positive impact on the people of Maluku. This program is not only a place for students to learn, but also a real form of academics’ contribution to community development.
