UNP Rector Sends Team For West Sumatra Disaster Response

Padang – Prof. Ganefri, Ph. D as Rector of Padang State University (UNP), quickly formed a West Sumatra disaster response team, the UNP team led by Prof. Dr. Anton Komaini, M.Pd Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) will visit several disaster locations due to heavy rains, floods and galodo that occurred at a number of disaster-prone points in this area Sunday, May 12, 2024.

UNP Rector Prof. Ganefri, Ph. D through his press statement said “we immediately form a team and budget aid for victims of natural disasters through LPPM UNP, as well as teams from student activity units: MPALH, Menwa, Scouts and KSR UNP have been and will be deployed, we are coordinating with the student affairs section. We will also hold a Nationality Festival that we integrate with humanitarian actions on May 18, “said the Rector who will also participate in the Governor’s Election this year.
