Director General Of Higher Education Prof. Abdul Haris Visits Faculty Of Medicine

Padang—Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology Prof. Dr. rer. nat Abdul Haris, M. Sc and his entourage paid a working visit to the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Negeri Padang  (UNP) in Bukittinggi Campus Monday 15/4. During the visit, the Director General was accompanied by the Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri, Ph. D., along with the Vice-Rectors, University Secretary, Dean and Director of General Affairs and Finance.

On his first visit since being appointed Director General of Higher Education, Prof. Abdul Haris saw the readiness of the FK Building and supporting infrastructure for lectures, which will be inaugurated in his plan by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Ir. Joko Widodo next May.

“Thank God, we were able to stay in touch with UNP and also see the readiness of the FK UNP building in preparation for the inauguration later, and I have checked all the FK  infrastructure,” said the Professor at the University of Indonesia (UI).

UNP Rector Prof. Ganefri, Ph. D., said, “Thank you for the visit of the Director General at the UNP; God willing, the FK building will have the final finishing and filling of the mobile and be ready to be inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia next May, including inaugurating the e-Library and Information Systems building at the UNP Air Tawar Padang Campus,” said the Chancellor who is also the Chair of the West Sumatra PWNU.  (Er/UNP Public Relations)
