FBS UNP Board Joins FBSI Forum In North Sumatra

PADANG – Faculty of Language and Arts leaders of Universitas Negeri Padang strengthened collaboration and implementation of cooperation through the Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS) Forum meeting organized by FBS UNIMED for three days from Thursday to Saturday (11-13/7) at the Niagara Parapat Hotel in North Sumatra.

This was said by the Dean of the Faculty of Language and Arts, Universitas Negeri Padang, Prof. Dr. Ermanto, S.Pd., M.Hum. to journalists of the beritaminang.com portal on Thursday (11/7) via cellular telephone.

On that occasion, Dean Prof. Dr. Ermanto, S.Pd., M.Hum. conveyed that the leaders of FBS University who attended the FBSI Consolidation Meeting were the Dean, Chair of the Faculty Academic Senate, Deputy Deans, Heads of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, Chair of the Faculty GPM which aimed to implement the strengthening of the tridarma of higher education in the fields of language, literature, art and design towards a world-class university.

“This forum is very important to improve joint collaboration to realize the common goal of becoming a world-class university and implementing cooperation in the tridarma of higher education,” added Prof. Dr. Ermanto, S.Pd., M.Hum.

Furthermore, Dean Prof. Dr. Ermanto, S.Pd., M.Hum. explained that the Indonesian Language and Arts Faculty Forum which is held once in two years and for FBSI in 2024 was opened by Prof. Dr. Baharuddin, M.Pd., Rector of Medan State University.

“In addition to the clustered group discussion and the implementation of the cooperation of the tridarma of higher education in similar study programs in LPTK Indonesia, a key paper was also delivered by Prof. Dr. Syawal Gultom, M.Pd. with the theme LPTK Development
