Meanwhile, the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. (HC) KH Ma’ruf Amin appreciated the increase in the number of public bodies in the informative category, in which only 15 public bodies in 2018 were in the Informative category, and until now, in 2023, it has reached 139.

“Transparency is one of the ways to maintain democracy and will ultimately lead to maintaining the welfare of the people. We appreciate the level of compliance of public bodies for better public information openness,” He said.

It is known that the ‘Informative’ predicate in 2023 is the third consecutive time achieved by UNP from 2021. UNP received this Public Information Openness Award in 2018 with the predicate ‘Towards Informative’. Then in 2019, it received an ‘Informative’ predicate for the first time, and in 2020 it reobtained the ‘Towards Informative’ predicate.

In total, UNP has received the ‘Informative’ predicate at the Public Information Openness Award four times and was awarded as “Towards Informative” twice.

The Public Information Openness Award is an award given annually by the Central Information Commission to Public Bodies implementing Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Openness (UU KIP). The assessment is carried out based on monitoring and evaluation conducted by the Central Information Commission on existing Public Bodies. (UTR/UNP Public Relations)
