UNP Holds Coordination Meeting Of Three PTNBH Organs

Padang—Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) held a Coordination Meeting of Three Organs of Legal Entity Public Universities (PTN BH). The meeting was attended by the Director General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education and Secondary Education, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Chairperson of the University Academic Senate, UNP Rector, Chairperson and Members of the Audit Committee, Chairperson and Members of the Board of Trustees, Chairperson and Members of the University Academic Senate, Senior Executive, Vice Rector, University Secretary, Dean, Director of Vocational School, Head of Institution, Head of Agency, Head of SPI, on Saturday, (27/7). 

UNP Rector Krismadinata, Ph.D when opened this activity stated “UNP’s institutional change from BLU to PTN BH, together we are building PTBNH towards a World Class University. through this Coordination Meeting, there will be communication between 3 organs, both MWA, Rector, and SAU to take one step in developing UNP in the future,” concluded the Rector of UNP. 

Director General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education and Secondary Education, Dr. Iwan Syahril, Ph.D in his speech said that UNP must have a vision towards Indonesia 20245, UNP must become Indonesia 20245. we are all 1 nation towards 2045. At this time UNP must focus on 5 things namely Teacher Education, Vocational Education, Physical Education Sports and Health, Climate Change and Educational Technology. Iwan Syahril emphasized that UNP must make various innovations in advancing education and realizing superior and quality human resources.  

In this coordination meeting, the three PTNBH organs delivered their presentation, including Prof. Dr. Z. Mawardi Effendi, M.Pd delivered presentation on the MWA organ as an element that carries out the functions of determining, considering, implementing general policies, and non-academic supervision, Chairperson of the University Academic Senate, Prof. Dr. Lufri, MS. explained about the SAU Organ as an element that carries out the function of determining policies, providing consideration, and supervision in the academic field and the UNP Rector, Krismadinata, Ph.D delivered about the rector’s organ as an element that carries out the function of managing UNP.
