PADANG – Rector of Universitas Negeri Padang, Krismadinata, Ph.D. expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Regent of Pesisir Selatan Drs. Rusma Yul Anwar, M.Pd. for the granting of 1.6 hectares of land for the development of UNP Campus in Pesisir Selatan.
This was conveyed by the Rector of Universitas Negeri Padang, Krismadinata, Ph.D. accompanied by Senior Executive, Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D. when contacted by journalists of beritaminang.com portal at the UNP Air Tawar Campus in Padang on Monday (29/7).
The donation of 1.6 hectares of land for the development of the UNP Campus in South Pesisir is a form of concern for education by the Regent of South Pesisir Regency and the Regency Government together with the community, explained Rector Krismadinata, Ph.D..
Furthermore, Rector Krismadinata, Ph.D. on behalf of the leadership and academic community of Universitas Negeri Padang once again expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Regent, District Government, and the people of Pesisir Selatan Regency.
On that occasion, Rector Krismadinata, Ph.D. also said that Universitas Negeri Padang immediately utilized the land grant for the construction of a Campus Building for lecture rooms and laboratories at the UNP Pesisir Selatan Campus.
The land grant from the Pesisir Selatan Regency Government will soon be developed so that the implementation of lectures at the UNP Pesisir Selatan Campus has the same lecture facilities as the implementation of lectures on the main campus of Air Tawar Padang, added Rector Krismadinata, Ph.D..
