The Ikatan Mahasiswa Kerinci- Sungai Penuh (IMKS) Komisariat Universitas Negeri Padang Holds Progress 2024

Padang— The Ikatan Mahasiswa Kerinci- Sungai Penuh (IMKS) Komisariat Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP)  held the Progress 2024 Pre-College Program of IMKS UNP in the Ballroom of the Grand Kerinci Hotel Sungai Banyak on Sunday (4/2). The activity has the theme “Exploring Your Potential to Achieve New Dreams with Progress 2024”. Also present at this activity were the Vice Rector I, UNP Secretary, Director of Student Affairs, Head of the Information and Protocol Services Office, Head of Student Affairs Sub-Directorate, and UNP BEM KM Advisor.

This activity was also attended by the Acting Regent of Kerinci Regency, Asraf, S.Pt, M.Si, Deputy Mayor of Sungai Banyak, Dr. Alvia Santoni, SE, M.M, Kapolsek Sungai Banyak and Dandim O417 Sungai Banyak.

IMKS General Chairperson M. Najmi Saputra said, “The Progress activity is an annual activity that aims to motivate SMA/SMK/MA students to get to know the ins and outs of SNPMB 2024 and, of course, information about UNP as one of the PTNs of choice for study. This activity will not be successful without it “support from the local governments of Kerinci Regency and Sungai Banyak City as well as the UNP community.”

Meanwhile, Acting Regent Asraf, S.Pt, M. Si, in his speech, said, “Even though we are still experiencing floods and landslides, the spirit of IMKS and high school/vocational school students is still enthusiastic about taking part in this activity, let’s continue to collaborate through IMKS to improve human resources in this area.”

The Deputy Mayor of Sungai Banyak, Dr. Alvia Santoni, M.M said: “We are proud of IMKS’ role in holding this activity and their hard work and responsibility for their younger siblings in this area as preparation for the demographic bonus which has successfully held this activity.”

UNP Rector, represented by Vice Rector I, Dr. Refnaldi, M.Litt, when opening this activity, said, “Many students or young people from the Kerinci and Sungai Banyak areas are studying at UNP and are also active as academics, so the UNP campus is one of the educational options. Collaboration between UNP and the Regional Government has been going on for a long time, and “There have been many implementations in human resource development for both teacher and apparatus education in the Kerinci and Sungai Full Regional Governments.”

In this activity, there were more than 1000 students from all SMA/SMK/MA in Kerinci Regency and Sungai Full City and presenters who would present strategic issues in choosing a PTN and Tips for Success at SNPMB from presenters who were experienced in their fields (Er/UNP Public Relations )
