UNP Will Accept 144 Practitioner Lecturers

Padang– Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) will accept as much as 144 practitioner lecturers to support “Merdeka Belajar and Kampus Merdeka “ to strength the quality of the learning to face the status of UNP from BLU becomes PTN-BH University. UNP needs the practitioner lecturers for the study programs of Diploma Degree (DIII) and the bachelor degree (S1) for two practitioner lecturers.

In his Press conference, Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D said that the practitioner lecturers will join together with the UNP’s lecturer, especially in practical subjects. The practitioner lecturers will joint teaching teams and certain subjects. Furthermore, the practitioner lecturers will also get the Special Lecturer Registration Number (NIDK) and the honorarium.

The recruitment of practitioner lecturers based on law of No. 14 of 2015 concerning Teachers and Lecturer must a master degree. Moreover, they have the substance of the expertise needed by a study program. The requirement is one of the practicing of the lecturers to get permission from the institution they work. This is one of part of the UNP’s partnership with the government, industry and the company.  The process of the recruitment in each study programs will be hold in first week of January 2021, because the practioners lectureres will start the learning on January untill June 2021 (Public Relations of UNP).
